Three Falls Farm has been in the family for many years. It stretches across 2268 acres of beautiful timbered landscape and is surrounded by the Drakensburg Mountains. The farm, nestled in the heart of Mpumalanga just south of Lydenburg, is a three and a half hour drive from Johannesburg. Or alternatively, a 90 minute trip from Nelspruit and the Kruger Park International airport.

Good to know:

• The house accommodates a maximum of eight guests including children.
• Staff tips are not included in the rate (there is a recommended rate).
• There's a fishing bag limit of four fish per stay.
• High clearance vehicles are preferable, but the access roads to the farm house are manageable by car.
• There is cell phone reception on the farm and 3G access on the road or at The Platform.
• We're situated in a malaria-free area.
• It is advisable to pack ankle boots for walking.
• We're a two hour drive from the Kruger Park and in close proximity to other heritage sites
• Misty conditions are not uncommon due to the altitude of 6000 feet.

Accommodation Rates

There is a premium for the long weekends.
NB. Staff tips are in addition to the rate per night. (See House Rules)

A deposit for one nights rate is mandatory and is only repayable if the booking
is cancelled more than 30 days before the date booked.
Otherwise a cancellation fee of 50 % will be charged.

• TURN LEFT INTO BELFAST
• GO THROUGH BELFAST
• PASS THE SPAR ON YOUR RIGHT
• THERE IS A SHELL GARAGE ON YOUR LEFT AT THE FIRST STOP STREET
• CONTINUE DOWN THE MAIN ROAD AND TURN RIGHT AT THE STOP STREET AT THE TOTAL GARAGE TO DULLSTROOM
• CONTINUE TO DULLSTROOM (APPROX 31 KM'S)
• GO THROUGH DULLSTROOM AND CARRY ON TOWARDS LYDENBURG / MASHISHING (APPROX 52 KM'S FROM ROSE COTTAGE TO THE 4 WAY STOP IN LYDENBURG)
• GET TO FOUR WAY STOP AND CONTINUE STRAIGHT OVER THE MAIN ROAD ONTO A DIRT ROAD. THERE IS A LARGE CONSTRUCTION SITE ON YOUR RIGHT HAND SIDE.
• SET CLOCK AT 0 KILOMETRES – (APPROX 18 KM FROM START OF DIRT ROAD TO THE ENTRANCE OF THE HOUSE)
• 7.3 KM'S CROSS OVER RAILWAY LINE
• 8 KM'S PASS A SAWMILL ON YOUR RIGHT
• AT APPROX 14 KM'S THE ROAD VEERS OFF TO THE LEFT TO MOKUBULAAN. DO NOT GO LEFT, KEEP RIGHT
• 16.5 KM'S CROSS OVER A BRIDGE ( YOU WILL SEE A STONE HOUSE ON YOUR RIGHT HAND SIDE)
• 16.8 KM'S YOU WILL SEE ON RIGHT UITKYK TURN-OFF (KASHANE COTTAGE) KEEP STRAIGHT
• 17.2 KM'S PASS ENTRANCE TO PINE COTTAGE ON YOUR LEFT
• 18.1 KM'S YOU WILL SEE A HALF FALLEN DOWN TREE AND BIG STONE GATES, ENTRANCE TO MADI-I-YILA AND TEMBANI
• ENTER GATE CODE AND GO THROUGH MAIN GATES – KEEP RIGHT TO MADI-I-YILA
• CARRY ALONG WINDY ROAD THAT TAKES YOU TO THE HOUSE
